Billy Corgan Suffering Food Poisoning On Tour
Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan battled through a bout of food poisoning on Wednesday (07Dec11) to perform for fans in Spain.
The rocker fell ill after a meal, but he refused to cancel the concert in Madrid and turned to local medics to help him pull through.
Writing on his Twitter.com blog before the gig, Corgan wrote, "Spent the whole day puking (vomiting) from food poisoning. But the docs here in Madrid got me up and runnin (sic). Gonna be a fascinating show..."
Corgan will have to continue playing sick - the band is due to head to Lisbon, Portugal for two shows on Thursday (08Dec11) and Friday (09Dec11).
