Billy Corgan Opens New Tea Shop With Acoustic Set
Madame ZuZu's opened in Highland Park and the famous owner treated his first customers to a short set of Pumpkins hits.
He told the 50-plus tea and coffee drinkers, "It's an exciting day. This has been a labour of love."
Corgan has styled the new cafe on what he thinks a Chinese tea house would have looked like in 1930s Paris - and he has high hopes for the little place, telling Rolling Stone magazine, "I want it to be a social hub that's interactive. You're trying to draw in different people from different walks of life. We want a dynamic in there. We don't want a passive space."
