Smashing Pumpkins - Billy Corgan Calls For Fans To Remember Dennis Flemion

The Frogs star was with friends and family on Wind Lake in Racine, Wisconsin last Saturday (07Jul12) when he failed to return from a swim.

His body was reportedly recovered by rescue teams on Tuesday (10Jul12), and a notice about a service at a church in West Allis, Wisconsin in his honour was published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Friday (13Jul12).

The message reads, "Creative genius and artist in the truest sense of the word, passed from this earth on July 7, 2012. Together with his brother Jimmy, Dennis left a legacy of music, laughter and always love.

"Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012, from 4 to 7pm. Services will begin at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wind Lake Volunteer Fire Department appreciated. Private interment."

Corgan has posted a picture of himself with Flemion on his Twitter.com page, and writes, "Me and The Man. Services are tomorrow for Dennis 4-7 if you wish to pay your respects..."
