Eva Longoria received a touching congratulatory message from former U.S. president Bill Clinton, after graduating from university with a Masters Degree in Chicano Studies.
The politician praised the former 'Desperate Housewives' star for inspiring her fans to never stop learning, following her graduation ceremony on Wednesday (22.05.13) at California State University.
Sharing his admiration for the 38-year-old actress on Twitter on Friday (24.05.13), he wrote: ''Thanks for inspiring others to never stop learning and for your support of @ClintonGlobal. Congrats on your degree.''
The brunette beauty quickly replied: ''Thank u Mr. President. (sic)''
Eva - who has been working towards the qualification for three years - also received messages of support from her admiring friends.
Her old co-star Marcia Cross tweeted: ''Huge congratulations on your graduation today!!!! From Canne to Cap and Gown. You are really something. Xoxo m (sic)''
The actress recently revealed she was struggling to meet the deadline for her thesis.
She said: ''I'm writing my thesis now. Hopefully, I'll finish in time!''
However, it seems she finally met the deadline and impressed her university professors.
Her representative said: ''Eva enrolled at Northridge three years ago and is receiving her Master's degree in Chicano Studies with her thesis on 'Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics] Careers'.''
