Bez Facing Arrest After 'Breaking Restraining Order'
Police are hunting HAPPY MONDAYS star BEZ over allegations he broke a restraining order banning him from contacting his ex-girlfriend, according to U.K. reports.
In August (10), the dancer/percussionist was found guilty of attacking his ex-girlfriend Monica Ward during a domestic dispute and was jailed for a month when he refused to carry out his community service sentence.
He was also handed a restraining order preventing him from contacting Ward for two years.
Bez, real name Mark Berry, walked free in September (10) after serving just two weeks of his sentence but is since alleged to have been harassing Ward.
Cops are keen to talk to the star over the claims, but officials cannot locate him at any of his known addresses around Manchester, northern England, reports to Britain's The Sun.
A police source tells the publication, "He is said to have made repeated attempts to contact Monica by phone and text.
"We will arrest him when we find him. Attempts are being made to track him down. We may need to get another police force involved."
