Beyonce Sizzles As Football Referee In Super Bowl Shoot

Beyonce has posed as an American football referee ahead of her musical comeback at the Super Bowl.

The 'Best Thing I Never Had' songstress will lead the halftime musical performance at the big sporting extravaganza on Sunday (03.02.13) and teased fans on what is to come wearing a sexy fitted black-and-white pinstriped referee's shirt.

The glamorous beauty took a high fashion approach to the classic outfit, however, pairing the shirt with high-waisted leather hot pants and knee-high boots in the photo, which she posted on her Tumblr account.

Beyonce will follow in the footsteps of Madonna and Janet Jackson by performing a live set during the halftime of the football game, and it has been rumoured she will be reunited with Destiny's Child band mates Kelly Rowland Michelle Williams for a medley of the band's greatest hits, including number one singles 'Survivor' and 'Independent Women'.

The 31-year-old superstar is also set to release her fifth studio album later this year after taking time away from music to give birth to her and husband Jay-Z's first child, daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012.

The singer began her comeback trail at United States president Barack Obama's inauguration last week, singing the US national anthem. Her performance came under fire amidst speculation that she lip-synched instead of singing live.
