Beyonce And Tina Knowles Take Blue Ivy For A Walk In New York

Beyonce was seen recently out and about with her two month old daughter, Blue Ivy. The mother and daughter were seen with new grandmother Tina Knowles, as they walked through the Tribeca neighbourhood in New York. Meanwhile, husband JAY-Z was down in Austin, Texas, performing at SXSW Festival.

The Love On Top singer wore a blazer; trilby hat; flat shoes and some eye catching trousers. She carried Blue Ivy - who had her head covered with a scarf - in a baby carrier attached to her front. Beyonce also covered her daughter's face from the paparazzi; in the other hand, she carried her smart phone and a blue pacifier, in case Blue Ivy started crying.

It is the second time that Blue Ivy has been seen in public - the first was just last month, when her parents took her to a Manhattan restaurant. Beyonce was also reported to have breast fed Blue Ivy at the time, something which has earned her praise by nursing advocates. Blue Ivy had her head covered then as well.

Blue Ivy was born in January 2012 and so far, Beyonce and Jay-Z chose a rather unusual method of showcasing the first photos of the baby - they created a special Tumblr blog for the photos, instead of selling them to a magazine, as many would have expected. The photos showed an inquisitive looking Blue Ivy being held by her tired but ecstatic parents.
