Betty White Hangs Out With Slash At Los Angeles Zoo
In the video clip, White and Clash are seen staring at a pair of frogs, with the veteran television star saying, "You can tell which one is male or female by the dark pads on their fingers", to which Slash replies, "Really? That's cool". The exhibition is set to open on March 8, 2012, with Zoo President Connie Morgan saying in a statement, "Betty White is synonymous with the Los Angeles Zoo.Her heart and her advocacy for the animals that share our earth help drive us to excellence". In early February 2012, the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association partnered with TV Land to name their newest baby orangutan after Betty's character in 'Hot in Cleveland' - Elka.
The only surviving member of the cast of 'Golden Globes', White has made somewhat of a comeback in recent years, appearing in feature films like 'The Proposal' and 'You Again' - she also stars alongside Kim Karsashian in a tourist commercial for California. Slash began working on his second solo album in June 2011 - collaborating with his touring band mates Myles Kennedy, Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz, with the resulting record tipped to be titled 'Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators'.| Comment on this article |
