Betty White Adopts Crocodile For Sir Elton

Sir Elton John was gifted with an unusual present for his recent 65th birthday - veteran actress Betty White adopted a crocodile in his honour.

The singer reached the milestone on 25 March (12) and to recognise his continued support for animal causes, the Golden Girls legend came up with a befitting gift for the Crocodile Rock hitmaker.

In a statement, she says, "Elton has been a wonderful advocate for animals and wildlife issues, so we decided to honour him by adopting a crocodile on his behalf."

The reptile will live in the Los Angeles Zoo.
