Best 'Tamed' By Lohan?by Contributor | 14 May 2007
Notorious playboy Calum Best has met his match in the form of partying actress Lindsay Lohan, the Sun reports.
Photographs of the pair frolicking in the sea grace the tabloid today yet it seems the pair, both famous flirts in celebrity circles, may be having something more than a holiday romance.
The 26-year-old son of late football legend George Best is known for his charms with the ladies including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, actress Patsy Kensit and glamour model Jodie Marsh.
However things are said to be much more serious with the Mean Girls actress, who has reportedly introduced Calum to her mother.
"They looked totally smitten with each other," said one sunbather who saw the couple together.
The recent romance comes after Calum confessed that he is willing to exchange his playboy lifestyle for martial happiness and would like to "find the perfect wife".
But the move has surprised Calum's friends. "This is very unusual for Calum. We're having trouble taking it seriously," said one source.
"But he has said he really likes Lindsay and wants to have a go at it."
His agent Dave Read, who has perhaps heard similar rumours before, also seems unconvinced that wedding bells are in store for the pair.
"Calum and Lindsay get on really well together. But this is Calum. We'll have to see," he told the newspaper.
