Berrabah Slams 'Brutal' Media

LATEST: SUGABABES beauty AMELLE BERRABAH has slammed the "brutal" media for its speculation on the fate of her role in the British girl group. Reports earlier this month (Sep07) stated that original member Keisha Buchanan and bandmate Heidi Range had started auditioning for Berrabah's replacement after tiring of her bad timekeeping. But the 23-year-old - who joined the Push The Button trio in November 2005 after the sudden departure of founding member Mutya Buena - has hit back at the claims, saying she is shocked and disappointed by the lack of faith in the band. She says, "What's shocked me most is how brutal people can be. I'm just trying to keep my head down and get on with it. "Before I joined the band I used to think Keisha and Mutya were horrible to Heidi, but now I've joined it's really strange how we can be having a great time then stories appear saying I'm leaving."
