Bentley In Tax Trouble
American Beauty star Wes Bentley is facing fresh financial woes - U.S. officials are chasing him for alleged tax debts.
The actor is said to owe as much as $204,000 (£136,000) in delinquent and federal taxes, according to records obtained by the Detroit News.
Internal Revenue Service bosses filed a $125,617 (£83,740) lien against Bentley and his estranged wife Jennifer Quanz in Los Angeles on 23 March (10).
And last year (09), California officials submitted two separate liens against the couple - a demand for $49,079 (£32,700) was filed in L.A. in March, while another $29,187 (£19,460) lien was lodged in December.
It's not the first set of money problems for Bentley - he was sued by attorneys for American Express last year (09) after allegedly failing to pay off $92,738 (£61,800) in credit card charges.
