Ben Gibbard - Ben Gibbard Avoids Gossip Magazines After Marriage Split

The Yes Man actress filed for divorce from Gibbard last December (11), citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending their two-year marriage.

Deschanel has since found love with Dear John screenwriter Jamie Linden, and the rocker reveals he now avoids gossip magazines so he won't be constantly reminded of his heartbreak.

He tells New York Magazine, "I don't see any of the web sites that covered it. I don't read pop-culture sites, I don't read gossip magazines, I don't read this s**t. And that's exactly how you deal with it. You just don't read them."
