Belushi & O'connell Promote Lawyers They Portray On Tv
Actors James Belushi and JERRY O'CONNELL are helping the real-life Las Vegas criminal attorneys who loosely inspired their new TV characters - by appearing in a TV commercial for their legal firm.
The top lawyers were consultants for the TV series The Defenders and the stars were only too pleased to help when they asked them to appear in a new ad.
Belushi says, "They've been doing it for 15 years; they're big-time criminal attorneys in Las Vegas and I'm playing one of them.
"They love it (the show) and all our cases are based on cases that they've had in Vegas. They come every two weeks and consult... They're having a ball.
"We actually did a commercial for them, where Jerry and I say... 'These are the guys that we're really playing,' and they come out and go, 'If you have any criminal problems...'"
