Beetlejuice Actor Loses His Home

Beetlejuice star Glenn Shadix is devastated after fire destroyed his home in Alabama.
The actor is reported to have left his property on Monday (22Dec08) morning and returned later that day to find the house engulfed in flames.
Shadix, who has starred in a variety of Tim Burton-directed films including 1993's The Nightmare Before Christmas and 2001's Planet of The Apes, bought the house last year (07) after moving back to his hometown of Bessemer, Alabama.
The star told fire crews at the scene, "I've lost my dream."
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation, according to TMZ.com.
