Bee Movie Gets London Premiereby Contributor | 07 December 2007
The stars of hit US animation Bee Movie have attended the film's UK premiere in London's Leicester square.
Renee Zellweger, who lends her voice talents to the CGI movie, and Jerry Seinfeld, who as well as starring as the litigious Barry also wrote the film's script, both braved the rain in central London.
Oscar-winning actress Zellweger joked that her Carolina Herrera dress weighed "about six stone" after getting soaked.
The 38-year-old, who blamed a stumble and minor wardrobe malfunction on the wind and rain, added: "I'm soaking wet, I'm like a sponge."
But Zellweger was coy on questions over her relationship with ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, who was recently seen dating Hollywood actress Rosanna Arquette in London.
"I hear he's just been nominated for a Grammy," she said. "That's wonderful.
"I hope [we are still friends], unless I've done something awful that I don't know about."
Bee Movie, which also stars Matthew Broderick, John Goodman and Chris Rock, opens in the UK on December 14th.
