Beckham's Gift To Ailing Dad
LATEST: Soccer star David Beckham is buying a Los Angeles home for his stricken father TED, according to U.K reports.
The L.A Galaxy star, 32, is set to purchase a plush Beverly Hills apartment for his father who is currently in London recovering from a heart scare.
A source tells British newspaper News of the World, "The apartment in Los Angeles is near to David's family place so now Ted can see them all regularly...and be a proper grandfather to the boys."
Beckham is now back in L.A after visiting his 59-year-old father in London last week (29Sep07).
