Beckham Voted World's Favourite Sportsman
David Beckham has another reason to celebrate following the birth of daughter Harper Seven - he has been voted the most influential sports star in the world.
The soccer ace and his wife Victoria became proud parents to little Harper earlier this month (Jul11), adding to their brood of three boys.
The new arrival has boosted Beckham's fanbase and made him more popular than fellow soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, the world's fastest man Usain Bolt, and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, according to a survey by U.K. clothes retailer Tekkers.
A spokesman for the chain says, "David's influence is as strong as ever. He's got the lot: looks, attitude, drive and a genuine global following."
