Beckham Denies Holmes Rift

The pair has been close friends since Beckham moved to Los Angeles last year (07) - but rumours the pals have drifted apart came to a head last week (ends18Apr08) when the Batman Begins star failed to show at the singer's recent 34th birthday celebrations.

And internet reports suggest Holmes snubbed Beckham at a recent restaurant encounter.

No reason for the fall-out has been given, and now a representative for Beckham has dismissed the speculation, claiming Beckham and her husband David, are still good friends with Holmes and her partner Tom Cruise.

Beckham's spokesman says, "They all had a drink together, and Tom and Katie and David and Victoria were all out for dinner together last Friday."
