JEFF BECK insists he and tourmate ERIC CLAPTON won't be hanging out after shows - because they have an awkward relationship.
The two guitar greats have signed up for six joint shows this year (10) after a pair of successful dates in Japan in 2009 - but don't expect them to become great friends.
Beck, who replaced Clapton in British rock band the Yardbirds, tells Rolling Stone magazine, "There is a respect there, but we aren't bosom buddies or anything... He's a difficult character, and I'm difficult, but last time we played together, he seemed to be a lot warmer and more content with his life in general."
