Beady Eye Perform Oasis Tracks At Stone Roses Warm-up
The band, formed from the remnants of the Wonderwall hitmakers following their break-up in 2009, is the main support act for the Fools Gold stars' second show in Manchester, England on Saturday (30Jun12), and they thrilled fans at their warm-up gig.
Beady Eye performed two Oasis tracks - Rock 'n' Roll Star and Morning Glory - in public for the first time during the show at Parr Hall in Warrington, England.
The venue was chosen as a special nod to the Stone Roses - they played their first concert in 16 years on the same stage in May (12).
Following Beady Eye's gig, singer Gallagher took to Twitter.com to send his best wishes to his pals ahead of their three massive homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park, which kick off on Friday (29Jun12).
He writes, "I just wanna wish the fab 4 good luck for tonight at Heaton Park."
