Beady Eye have named their new album 'BE'.

The 'Flick of the Finger' group will release the follow-up to 2011's 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' on June 10.

Frontman Liam Gallagher - who is joined in the band by fellow ex-Oasis members Gem Archer, Chris Sharrock and Andy Bell, plus former Kasabian guitarist Jay Mehler - is thrilled with the experimental direction the album has taken, thanks to working with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV On the Radio producer Dave Sitek.

He said: ''Working with Sitek just opened something up in us.

''He's without doubt the best producer I've ever worked with, a real outlaw.

''He doesn't give a f**k, no rules. We had a few-found focus when we were writing it.

''We got our heads down and got our s**t together - clear heads.

''None of that c**p from the 90s. It feels like a really special record for us.''

The album news comes days after the group debuted 'Flick of the Finger' - the first track to be previewed from the new album - on Californian radio station KCRW.

The four-minute song layers a horn section over a repetitive drumbeat and sees Liam adopt a stream-of-consciousness vocal style, as the track, which has no chorus, builds.
