Helen Baxendale - Baxendale's Knifeman Scare In South Africa

The former Friends star was in Cape Town working on upcoming British drama Kidnap and Ransom earlier this year (10) when the attacker confronted her - but she managed to flee to safety.

Baxendale tells Britain's The Sun, "We were warned not to go out but we did. Somebody showed me a knife and we ran. I was really scared. I thought, 'What an idiot, not to have heeded the warning'.

"South Africa is an amazing country but obviously there are still a lot of problems."
