Bassist Chuck Rainey Suffers A Stroke

Band leader and revered session musician Chuck Rainey has suffered a stroke.
The 71-year-old musician, who has worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Bette Midler, Dusty Springfield and Quincy Jones, is recovering at a hospital in Texas.
In a Facebook.com post, his wife Susan writes, "Chuck had a stroke Friday night but the prognosis is good for a full recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers."
