Retired basketball icon Scottie Pippen is facing a lawsuit from an autograph hunter who claims the star assaulted him last month (Jun13).
The former Chicago Bulls player was questioned by police in June (13) after allegedly becoming involved in a fight with Camran Shafighi, 49, who claims Pippen lashed out after he asked for an autograph outside a restaurant in Malibu, California.
Pippen, 47, was not arrested over the alleged incident and no charges were filed, but he is now facing a civil court battle with Shafighi, who claims he suffered injuries to his head and back.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday (11Jul13). Police officers are continuing to investigate the alleged incident.
