Basic Instinct 2 Cleans Up At The Razzies

Basic Instinct 2 has emerged as the biggest loser at this year's Golden Raspberry Awards (The RAZZIES), winning four prizes including Worst Picture at Hollywood's Ivar Theatre last night (24FEB07).
Sharon Stone's reprisal of the role in which she made her name landed her the gong for Worst Actress, with the follow-up to 1992's Basic Instinct also 'winning' Worst Sequel and Worst Screenplay at the ceremony which recognises the worst in filmmaking.
The comedy little man scooped three awards - Worst Remake or Rip-Off, Worst Actor for both Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, who also picked up the prize for Worst Couple.
M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN was named and shamed for LADY IN THE WATER, taking home both Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Director for the fantasy thriller.
