Barry Gibb's Stage Return After Brother Robin's Death

Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb is to return to the stage for the first time following the death of his brother Robin.

The star vowed to launch a solo career earlier this month (Jul12) in honour of his three deceased brothers, Maurice, who died in 2003, Robin, who lost his battle with cancer in May (12), and Andy, who passed away in 1988.

The musician is now taking to the stage as a solo act by performing at the famed Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday (27Jul12).

Gibb says in a statement, "I have dreamed of performing on the hallowed stage of the Opry since I was 12 years old, so this is a dream come true for me. There is no greater honor."
