Barrino In Tears Over Daughter

Barrino was taken to hospital last month (Aug10) after overdosing on sleeping pills and aspirin and she has since revealed the attempt was no accident - she wanted to die.

The drama prompted hardcore gossip queen Williams to ask the former American Idol star if she thought about her daughter before deciding to take her life.

The pertinent question prompted her chat show guest to burst into tears.

Through the sobs, she said, "At the time I wasn’t really thinking about anybody because... nobody knows how heavy it (fame) is. You see the glitz and the glamour and you think they've got it, they've got it all, but a lot of times when you come into this industry you have a lot of people who say they're there for you, but a lot of times they're just there to get what they can get... Nobody was there to help me clean it up."
