Barlow Regrets Not Looking After Williams

GARY BARLOW regrets neglecting his TAKE THAT bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS at the height of their boy band fame, insisting he felt "a lot of guilt" as he watched his pal's problems with drink and drugs spiral in later years.
Barlow admits he and his bandmates - including Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen - were like big brothers to youngest member Williams, who was just a teenager when the pop group shot to fame in the early 1990s.
And the singer admits he was wracked with guilt as his friend sank into the depths of addiction after quitting Take That in 1995 to pursue a solo career.
Barlow tells British DJ Chris Moyles, "I think we had a lot of guilt, the four of us, because Rob was the youngest, the most impressionable of all of us. We always felt like we didn't look after him enough. If there was one big thing we sat and regretted it was always that."
