Barat To Play Nero In French Opera
Rocker Carl Barat is set to play Roman emperor Nero in a new French opera.
The former Libertines star will take the stage in Pop'pea, an opera inspired by Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea, at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris later this summer (11).
Barat also has a movie role lined up - he'll star alongside TV's one-time Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan in new film The Man Inside.
