Ballet legend Peter Schaufuss has settled a breach of contract suit against Sergei Polunin over the dancer's disappearing act during rehearsals for a London show.
The Ukrainian star left Schaufuss and his team in the lurch when he failed to turn up for rehearsals for Midnight Express in April, 2013 just days before the English National Ballet production was set to open at the London Coliseum.
Polunin surfaced in Moscow, Russia days later and blamed a mystery "health issue" for his absence.
Ballet superstar-turned-dance company director Schaufuss sued the 24 year old for violating the terms of his contract, but now both parties have decided to settle the matter in private.
Schaufuss says, "I am delighted that this has now come to a close with a settlement out of court. It has been agreed that the content of the settlement is confidential."
The Dead's last ever shows will be available online for a fee.
