Baldwin Urges Florida Locals To Save The Manatee
Actor Alec Baldwin has recorded a pair of public service announcements urging Florida locals to help save their native manatees.
The Pearl Harbor star agreed to voice his concerns in local Save the Manatee Club TV ads after learning the many of the endangered sea creatures are being left to die painful deaths after getting hit by boats and jet-skis.
The new PSAs mark the second time Baldwin has spoken fondly about the creatures - he voiced a manatee-loving marine biologist character on cartoon series The Simpsons back in 2005.
