Baldwin Prays For Cruise

Actor and born-again-Christian Stephen Baldwin prays for his Born on the Fourth of July co-star Tom Cruise.
Baldwin claims the superstar has changed since they starred in the 1989 Vietnam War film together and misses the "regular Joe" Cruise used to be.
The 40-year-old says, "On the Hollywood list of people I pray for often, Tom Cruise is probably number one.
"I'd love to break bread with him and pray with him, and I'd love for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the truth to him.
"That regular Joe quality seems to have been lost. When you buy enough of your own hype, then it's not who you are anymore."

I also am Christian (one who believes in the teachings of Christ)-this does not give me the right to act so sanctimoniously as Baldwin who is on the journey like all Christians. If God is the essence of love then Tom Cruise has a great deal of Him inside no matter what philosophies he believes in. He is loving and generous in so many ways and has prospered in God's love.He has the absolute right to air his views like every non descript actor and person on the street as they gossip in their judgemental vain selves.Carry on rejoicing in your life Tom-and ignore all the jealous comments that are gossiped about you. You have a beautiful family that you love, delightful children and wealth that you have spread around and that others have profited from. You are a good kind person and may God bless your future and the futures of your extended family.

I'm thrilled to hear that someone is taking the time to pray for Tom. I'm a Christian but even if I wasn't, I'm very concerned with what Scientology has done to these people. Since it is not really a religion in the true Christian Judeo fashion but more or less a philosophy of life (they don't believe in God, sin, etc), they become very self empowered, self centered, and rather "cold". Any, keep up the prayers and who knows, maybe Tom will be free from himself day and back to being a regular Joe.
