Film and stage actor TERRENCE 'TAB' BAKER has died after suffering a fatal heart attack at the age of 47.
He passed away at his home in his native Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday (10Aug10).
In a career spanning 30 years, Baker became a regular on the Chicago theatre circuit before landing roles in films such as 1992's sport film Gladiator and Save the Last Dance in 2001.
He also scored TV parts on hit medical drama ER and popular series Prison Break.
Baker is survived by his daughter, five brothers and four sisters, reports trade paper Daily Variety.
