Lenny Kravitz loves his home in the Bahamas - because no one knows who his famous friends are.
The rocker has played host to pals like Penelope Cruz and Mick Jagger at his humble abode on Eleuthera and he admits they love the anonymity the place affords them.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I brought Mick Jagger there once. We went to a shack to get a beer, and they asked, 'So, what do you do?' He was like, 'I make music.' 'What kind of music?' 'Rock 'n' roll'. 'Oh great.'
"Then the guy started talking about fishing."
Kravitz bought his plot of land on the island with the cash he received after signing his first record deal in 1989. The estate came with a rundown shack and he has since set up an Airstream trailer and a recording studio there. He also operates a small farm, which provides him with all the vegetables he needs when he visits his home from home.
