Bafta Honour For Wolfgang Suschitzky
The 99-year-old film veteran, famed for his work on Sir Michael Caine's 1971 movie Get Carter, was presented with a special Bafta award for creative contribution to British cinema.
The event featured tributes and highlights from his career, as well an interview during which Suschitzky talked about his work, joking that he had to retire at the age of 80 because "the days got too long".
He was given a standing ovation as he collected his prize, according to industry website Variety.com.
Austrian-born Suschitzky turns 100 on 29 August (12).
