Bach Rules Out Velvet Revolver Role

08 May 2008
Former Skid Row star Sebastian Bach has ruled out taking Scott Weiland's job in Velvet Revolver - because he's too much of a friend to Axl Rose to join the rocker's former GUNS N' ROSES bandmates.

Weiland suggested his former bandmates should hire Bach as their new singer when he was kicked out of the band last month (Apr08), but the rocker insists he's not the right guy.

Bach claims joining Velvet Revolver would be "really awkward." He says, "I'm very close friends with Axl. Axl's been so nice to me, I don't think I would feel comfortable just joining Velvet Revolver and singing his songs every night. So I don't think that's gonna happen."
