Autopsy Fails To Offer Answers For Gray's Death

Slipknot star PAUL GRAY's death will remain a mystery until toxicology reports are available after police in Iowa failed to determine a cause following an autopsy.

The bassist was found dead in a suburban Des Moines hotel on Monday (24May10). He was 38.

Initial reports suggested police did not suspect foul play. In a statement released on Tuesday (25May10), officers revealed the death is still under investigation.

Polk County Medical Examiner Gregory Schmunk expects the results from the toxicology tests to be available next month (Jun10).

Police say the autopsy did confirm there was no evidence of foul play or trauma, and that Gray had been dead for several hours when his body was discovered by a hotel staff member.
