The Police Officer and Cockney Translation hitmaker passed away after cops swooped on his home in Surrey, England on Tuesday (15Mar11) to carry out an arrest warrant relating to drug charges.
Officials at the Independent Police Complaints Commission - a U.K. watchdog group - have launched an inquiry into the incident and investigators are gathering forensic evidence and detailed accounts from the arresting officers at the scene on the day Culture, real name David Emmanuel, lost his life.
His death still remains under investigation.
