Author Ev Thompson Dead At 81

Beloved British author Ev Thompson has died at his home in Cornwall.
The writer passed away on Thursday night (19Jul12), aged 81.
Thompson authored over 40 historical novels and was honoured with a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Mbe) medal in the Queen's most recent New Year's Honours list.
His books have included Chase the Wind and Beyond the Storm. His final book, The Bonds of Earth, is scheduled for release in November (12).
