Aria - Aussie Singer Jimmy Little Dies

Australian singer Jimmy Little has died, aged 75.
The veteran musician passed away at his home in Dubbo, New South Wales after suffering complications from a long battle with ill health. Little underwent a kidney transplant in 2004 and suffered from diabetes.
Little's music manager Graham 'Buzz' Bidstrup confirmed the sad news, saying, "It wasn't unexpected, but when it happens it hits you."
The star - born James Oswald Little - found fame Down Under in 1959, and his 1963 song Royal Telephone became the first track by an Aboriginal performer to top the country's pop music charts, while his other hits included One Road, written by Bee Gees star Barry Gibb, and Baby Blue.
He was inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame in 1999, and in 2001 he recorded a version of The Triffids' Bury Me Deep in Love with Kylie Minogue.
His last album, Life's What You Make It, featured covers of songs by artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2 and was released in 2004.
Little also enjoyed a career as an actor, featuring in films including 1991 movie Until the End of the World.
