Asia Star John Wetton Recovering From Major Surgery

Rocker John Wetton Has Confirmed He's Recovering From The Removal Of A Tumour.
The Asia singer had surgery to remove a large "malignant mass" from his body on 16 May (15) and is now recuperating.
Thanking the doctors who diagnosed him and those who performed the operation in a statement, his manager writes: "On May 16, John underwent surgery for the successful removal of a 1kg malignant mass. John wishes to extend his thanks to Mr. Chan and his team. John is also beyond grateful for the wonderful wishes and prayers received."
A tweet from Wetton's Asia bandmate Geoffrey Downes reads: "Good news to hear my old Asia bezza (best friend) John Wetton is now recuperating after surgery. We're all backing you for a speedy recovery, mon brave!!"
