Ashley Judd is set to return to television for the first time in 20 years in ABC action series 'Missing'.

Reported to be close to signing a deal with ABC for the action series, the 42-year-old actress would play Becca Winstone, a former CIA agent who travels to Europe to search for her missing teenage son.
It would be her first appearance in a TV show since she co-starred in 'Sisters' in the early 1990s.
Some episodes of the new thriller will be directed by Emmy Award winner Steve Shill, who has also worked on 'Dexter'.
He will also executive produce with writer Greg Poirier as well as Grant Scharbo and Gina Matthews, reports Deadline.
Since her role as Reed Halsey in 'Sisters', Ashley has starred in a number of films including 'A Time to Kill', 'De-Lovely' and 'Double Jeopardy'.
She will next be seen in 'Dolphin Tale' and is releasing her memoir 'All That is Bitter and Sweet' on April 5.
Production for 'Missing' is scheduled to start in March in Rome, Vienna and Prague.
