Arnold Schwarzenegger To Return As The Terminator
Hollywood agency Caa are reportedly shopping the rights to the film, which are expected to solicit major bids from a number of large Hollywood studios. Schwarzenegger, who will reprise his role as the cyborg sent from the post-apocalyptic year 2029, recently spoke about the limitations of his acting ability, telling Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung, "In the future I have to adapt my roles to my age. Clint Eastwood also has done it in the same way. Extreme fighting or shooting is not possible anymore. I want to be more encouraged as an actor and I believe that I can manage this challenge". In 2009, the McG-directed 'Terminator Salvation' starred Sam Worthington as the cyborg and Christian Bale as 'John Connor', however, neither actor is expected to feature in the forthcoming movie. Edward Furlong played Connor in the first two movies but it is yet to be confirmed whether he will re-team with Schwarzenegger and reprise the role.
Sources say that Universal, Sony, Lionsgate and CBS are considering the new Terminator project with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role. A screenwriter is yet to be attached to the movie and there is no word on a release date.
