Arnie Apologises For Ethnic Comments
Hollywood star ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has apologised after calling a Latina lawmaker "very hot". The California Governor said of Republican BONNIE GARCIA, "black blood" mixed with "Latino blood" equals "hot". Schwarzenegger has apologised, saying, "Anyone out there that feels offended by these comments, I just want to say I'm sorry. The fact is that if I would hear this kind of comments in my house, by my kids, I would be upset, and today, when I read it in the papers ... It made me cringe." Garcia, whose parents are from Puerto Rico, insists there was no need for Schwarzenegger to apologise, saying she referred to herself as a "hot-blooded Latina" all the time. But state Treasurer PHIL ANGELIDES said the governor "used language that is deeply offensive to all Californians". Democrat assemblyman MERVYN DYMALLY, who chairs the state Legislative Black Caucus, said the Governor's comments were "usual political banter. We do this all the time."

| Arnold is the No. 1 scheißerührer (s**t-stirrer) and giftmeister (troublemaker) of all times and he is enjoying the verbal fistfights more than you will ever know. He has never had a filter and he is not going to start now especially when he can use the excuse of the language barrier getting in the way. Remember? My sense is that Arnold enjoys polemic debates where he can demonstrate the power of sophism and then come back with a sincere or insincere apology. This man is definitely no dummy and it is a reminder everyday that he is a skilled actor who enjoys role-playing and has no problem playing one group over another, when and if he needs to—all times call for all measures in his book. In fact, he delights in [the] arguments for or against him afterwards. This is a real form of sick brilliance—the actors’ finest moments. Some might argue that California knew what it was getting when it went to the dressing room for a wardrobe change in 2003. It had to have been understood that once the curtains were drawn only actors stood behind them. To that end, people, it is not uncommon when statements like his are condone. These opportunities are the best gifts one can offer another who has deep biases – well shucks, “If Tom had not opened the door, then, Jack would have never walked in, but thank you Tom...” You know, the excuse used when someone does not want to take all the blame for the comments made afterwards, but does not mind riding piggyback on the last callers’ final answer. It is almost like the tag-team effect. Listen, Arnold takes great pleasure in the divide and conquer mentality—regardless if it is right or wrong. The adrenaline rush of having so many people talk about it later fuels the fire within the same way pumping iron does and there are those that fall for it every time. So, why do some say that when Arnold does not have his handlers writing his material he seems to step in the mud? Some would disagree. He is not stepping into the mud at all. This man is stepping directly into the light and that is where he gains all of his power. Arnold knows what type of reaction his words will deliver him and he plays the public—those for or those against him—like a brand new soccer ball; his handlers are only there for an occasional game of hide and seek. | ||
