Aretha Franklin - Aretha Franklin Producing Son's Debut Album

The Respect hitmaker reveals 55-year-old Eddie Franklin is working on his first release and his legendary mum is giving him a helping hand - she's also recording vocals for the project.

In an interview on U.S. breakfast show Today, she said, "I'm recording and producing him (sic), Eddie's gonna have a great album. He's gonna have a wonderful R&B album. He is radio-friendly.

Asked whether she will be singing on the project, Franklin, 70, replied, "Just a little bit, just a tiny bit. We wanna hear Eddie though."
