Gary Barlow - Apology Issued Over Gary Barlow Concert

Executives of a water company have issued an apology after Gary Barlow fans were left without working toilets at the star's gig in London on Tuesday night (27Nov12).

The Take That singer performed a solo show at the British capital's famous Royal Albert Hall, but a plumbing disaster put a damper on the evening.

Barlow considered cancelling the concert after a problem with the pipes left the venue without water, but he was given a last-minute reprieve when the utilities were eventually switched back on.

However, many fans have complained that public toilets at the venue were out of order and they were also unable to buy drinks as the bars were shut due to ongoing problems with the pipe pressure.

A spokesman for Thames Water has now issued an apology for the problems: "We repaired a faulty valve on our pipe which had reduced the pressure of water entering the Royal Albert Hall. We are really sorry to everyone who was inconvenienced by this."

A representative for the venue adds, "Efforts were made to minimise disruption to the audience attending the event and to ensure Thames Water rectified the problem as quickly as possible. The Gary Barlow concert continued as planned and the audience were treated to an amazing night of entertainment."
