Black Eyed Peas - Apl.de.ap Brings Philippines To Hollywood For Special Show

The rapper took over the Hollywood Bowl venue for A Celebration of Global Filipino Music and rounded up acts from his native Philippines.

Filipino actress Vanessa Hudgens co-hosted the bash and pop star Nicole Scherzinger performed, while apl.de.ap's bandmates will.i.am and Taboo also took the stage.

In a post on his Twitter.com account, apl.de.ap writes, "Amazing night HollywoodBowl! Thanks to everyone who came out & supported my PEAps!"

will.i.am adds on his own page, "I'm so proud of my best friend apl_de at ‪thehollywoodbowl‬... he's doing so much for the Philippines."
