TARZAN's favourite chimpanzee, CHEETA, celebrated his 74th birthday with a Spanish film festival honour yesterday (10APR06). The movie star primate, who starred in JOHNNY WEISMULLER's Tarzan films in the 1940s, was awarded the Festival Internacional de Peniscola prize for his life's work. The retired ape was then handed a sugar-free cake and two cans of his favourite Diet Coke as a birthday treat. Cheeta was recently added to the Guinness Book Of Records for being the oldest surviving chimp.
