Anti-mel Gibson Crusader Strikes Out Again

After word circulated that his anti-Mel Gibson ads had been rejected by billboard companies operating signs on the Sunset Strip, L.A. publicist Andy Behrman says that he was contacted by a firm that sells space on the electronic billboards at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and Shea and Yankee stadiums in New York offering to run them. Behrman told the MSNBC "Scoop" gossip that he received a message from a salesman saying, "Anti-Gibson advertising accepted here" and quickly made a deal. However, the column reported, the company backed out. Behrman received a message from the salesman saying that his bosses had taken the same stance that the Sunset Strip billboard operators had. "Sorry to have gotten you all excited," the salesman reportedly wrote. "I truly never imagined that we wouldn't be able to get this done."
